Unfortunately, “business” and “charity” do not often go together.  However, you can bring altruism into the work place by organizing a “Going Casual for a Cause Day” at your place of employment.  Here’s how it works:  On a workday where something more that casual attire is normally required, individuals can donate $10, $15, or $20 to one or more charitable organizations of a business’s choosing, such as Netting Nations, in exchange for being allowed to dress “casually” on that day.  It’s a great way to donate to noble causes and also get out of wearing those “skirts and hoses” and “ties and slacks!”
